What Is Thames Warrior Experience?

Thames Warrior Experience provides fully guided fishing trips on the River Thames and guided lake sessions during the closed season.
We tailor every trip to beginners, families, children, and experienced anglers.
All equipment, bait, tackle, and safety gear are included.

Meeting locations depend on the session and conditions.
Regular meeting points include:

• Chertsey

• Weybridge

• Hampton Court

• Windsor

After booking, you’ll receive a Google Maps pin, free parking details, and full directions.

How Are Trips Priced?

Trips are for up to 4 anglers.
The price stay the same whether it's 1 person or 4.
Options include 4, 6, 8, and 12-hour experiences.
Custom family days and multi-day bookings available.

What’s Included In The Trip?

• Rods, reels & all tackle

• All bait (livebait, deadbait, groundbait, pellets)

• Life jackets (for boat sessions)

• Full tuition & lessons 

• Chairs or shelters on request

• Photos & videos of your catches

You only need to bring food, drinks, and suitable clothing.

Do I Need A Fishing Licence?

Anyone aged 13 or over requires an Environment Agency fishing licence.
We can provide the licence for your experience, so you don’t need to arrange anything.
Children under 13 do not require one.

How Do I Book A Trip?

1. Choose your preferred date

2. We confirm availability

3. A small deposit secures the booking

4. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your meeting point, start time, and what to bring

The remaining balance is paid on the day.

What If The Weather Is Bad?

Your safety comes first.
If conditions are unsafe (storms, flooding, high flow, strong wind), your trip will be:

• Rescheduled, or

• A voucher will be issued to rebook

We never fish in unsafe conditions.

Can I Bring My Dog?

Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome on most trips.
Please mention this when booking so we can plan safely.

 

Is It Safe?

Yes. We follow strict safety procedures.
We provide:

• Life jackets

• Boat safety briefing

• Child-friendly tackle

• Safe fish-handling guidance

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

When Is The Fishing Season?

The River Thames coarse fishing season runs from June 16 to March 14.
During the closed season (March 15–June 15), we offer guided sessions on a private lakes.
