What is Thames Warrior Experience?
Thames Warrior Experience offers fully guided fishing trips on the River Thames and private lakes during the closed season.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a family with kids, or an experienced angler—we tailor the day to suit you. Choose from float fishing, predator hunting, carp adventures, or barbel battles.
Where Do We Meet?
We fish some of the best wild stretches of the Thames. Trips usually launch from:

You’ll receive a Google Maps pin and full directions after booking confirmation.
Parking is free at all meeting locations. What Can We Catch ?
Multi-Species / Float Fishing
Great for beginners, kids, and relaxed fishing. Fish you may catch include:

Roach, Rudd, Dace, Gudgeon

Perch, Tench, Bream, Small Chub
Predator Fishing
Fast-paced and exciting using live/dead bait or lures. Targets include:

It Suitable for Families and Beginners
Yes! We welcome children, complete beginners, and mixed-experience groups. The experience can be fully instructional or just a relaxed day out. All equipment is provided.

Prices are based on 2 anglers unless stated. Extra anglers can be added for an additional fee.

How Do I Book
Once we confirm your date, you’ll be asked to pay a deposit via bank transfer. The remaining balance is due on the day.
All details—meeting location, start time, and what to bring—will be included in your confirmation email.
What If the Weather Is Bad
If river conditions are unsafe or extreme weather is forecast, we’ll reschedule your session or issue you a voucher to rebook another day.
Can I Bring My Dog
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome on most trips. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Is It Safe
Absolutely. We follow all safety protocols, provide life jackets where needed, and supervise all activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
When Is the Fishing Season
The River Thames is closed to coarse fishing from March 15 to June 15 each year. During this time, we offer alternative trips on a private lake.
